Did you know that lactation coverage starts BEFORE your baby arrives? This is because of the tremendously positive impact of prenatal education on your journey. Anticipatory guidance is ALWAYS key! These visits are typically done virtually, and they are also great way to get to know each other prior to your baby’s arrival. Partners/ parents/ support system are welcome to sit in with you!

- What to expect after birth and during the hospital stay
- The expected and appropriate feeding patterns of the newborn
- How to establish and secure your supply
- How to take care of ones self to optimize lactation post-partum

- How to bottle feed in order to preserve breastfeeding
- How to latch and position infant
- Specific guidance can be given if you are currently expecting to deliver a premature or medically fragile baby.
