
Home visits are currently offered in select areas of Nassau County and Queens.
Home visits are typically 60-90 minutes long.
Issues that we can work on include:
- Assessing infant intake via weighted feedings
- Assessment of oral restrictions or body tension that may hinder an efficient latch
- Bottle refusal
- Clogged ducts and Mastitis
- Difficulty latching and positioning
- Discontinuing or nipple shield use
- Flange sizing
- Low milk supply
- Nipple pain
- Pump use
- Oversupply
- Special assessment of NICU graduates
- Triple-feeding
- Weaning
Additional information:
- Typically, families that I work with need 1-2 home visits and we follow up virtually.
- All equipment is sterilized between patient use.
- I will not come to your home if I am feeling unwell, in the event that I am ill on the day of our home-visit, a telehealth visit will be offered, or I will help you seek another provider.
- If anyone in the home is under the weather, please let me know and I will wear a face mask during the appointment to ensure safety.
- I am equipped with different flange inserts and styles to help you find the most comfortable and appropriate flange.
